Description: This layer represents transects from CCS’s aerial surveys conducted from 2022-2024 in Massachusetts The surveys are conducted from January through May and are typically done twice a month during that period. They used a line-transect methodology flying a series of east-west track lines that are spaced 3 nm apart.
