Description: This data layer shows the components of a proposed Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) design for regional long-term monitoring in U.S. Atlantic waters. This grid design was amended by the Regional Wildlife Science Collaborative (RWSC) Marine Mammal Subcommittee in March 2024 from the Van Parijs et al. 2021 suggested design to include new components as suggested by the results of a regional PAM optimization study (Chudzinska and Thomas, 2023).
