Description: This data product shows the seasonal abundance or displacement volume (ml) per cubic meter (log-transformed) of Euphausiids for winter months (December to February) from 2003 to 2009.The zooplankton data were collected by NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center 2019) and obtained from the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) athttps://www.ncei.noaa.gov/access/metadata/landing-page/bin/iso?id=gov.noaa.nodc:0187513This dataset covers offshore waters from North Carolina to northern Maine, and from the coast line until the 1600 meter bathymetry line. The spatial resolution of this layer is 2600 meters (0.03374 degrees).The abundance raster was generated using the methods described by Marta Ribera at the Nature Conservancy (Ribera 2016a, Ribera 2016b, Ribera 2016c, Ribera 2016d).ReferenceNOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center (2019).
