Layers: Description: This product includes the seasonal abundance or displacement volume (ml) per cubic meter (log-transformed) of 6 groups of zooplankton species for four seasons in two time periods (2003-2009 & 2010-2021).The zooplankton data were collected by NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NOAA Northeast Fisheries Science Center 2019) and obtained from the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) athttps://www.ncei.noaa.gov/access/metadata/landing-page/bin/iso?id=gov.noaa.nodc:0187513This dataset covers offshore waters from North Carolina to northern Maine, and from the coast line until the 1600 meter bathymetry line. The spatial resolution of this layer is 2600 meters (0.03374 degrees).
